Happy Father's Day!!!

I wanted to share some pictures of my wonderful husband and our kids with you. Paul has been such an awesome husband and dad to our kids, I couldn't ask for more! I knew the day that I met him, that I was going to marry him and that sort of thing doesn't happen very often. We were meant to spend this lifetime together, and I'm loving every minute of it.

Paul, We love you so much!!! Happy Father's Day!!!

On our way to the hospital, to have Miss Grace!

A few more hidden treasures!

There is a new indoor putt putt place at the mall that we took the kiddos to a while back. The kids really enjoyed it because the whole place is lit with black lights and everything glows. You can play up to 3 times for the one admission price, so that was nice. We were there for quite a while. It was a lot of fun!

No matter how many times we tried to show Jai the correct way to putt...he would always turn the putter around backwards and swing. Eventually we just gave up, and sat back and laughed at him. :)

Here are some few pictures from a park nearby that we like to go to. It's really nice because it's shaded and there is a jogging course, so you know I like that! The mosquitos can get a little out of control sometimes though due to poor planning with the flooring under the swings. There are large cracks around the matting (see below) and they hold water which the mosquitos loooove. The Genet's are a tasty treat for mosquitos, for sure!

Lots of Catching Up To Do...

I'm trying to catch up on some blogging. I have a lot of pictures stored in my phone that I haven't loaded on here...so check back for updates and new stories.

We've been hanging out in the back yard a lot lately in the sprinkler and pool...
here is Jai showing off his favorite Buzz Lightyear towel.

We needed a bigger pool...this one was way too small for both of them and they like to argue over who's taking up more room, or playing with certain water toys, etc...

...so we got them this one. They still argue over water toys, but at least they both have room to splash around more.

We went to the mall a couple of weeks ago, and Jai was able to "build a bear" for the first time. He had so much fun. He named his bear "Matey".
Gracie got one also, which she named Snow.  Gracie has quite an obsession with stuffed animals. She has to have at least 6 surrounding her while she sleeps. It's quite a work out having to tuck them all in at night.

Jai insisted on carrying his box through the mall. haha. It was almost as big as he is. :)

I had to sneak in this lovely card that Grace made me for Mother's Day. So sweet! :)

My Grace's 1st Love letter!

Hanging Rock

On Wednesday evening, my mom was kind enough to watch the kiddos while Paul and I went to Hanging Rock. It's always so nice when we are able to get off and enjoy each other. It doesn't happen often. So, a big shout out to my mom! We love you and appreciate it!!!!
I have been wanting to go hiking for quite some time. Paul was very kind to do it with me, considering the fact that he doesn't get into this type of activity very much. He would have much rather enjoyed spending our night off at the movies or just hanging out relaxing. But, he suffered for me and it meant a lot. I had a great time. I was able to snap a few shots but I didn't get too close to the edge. Eeeek!

Field Day 2011

It's Summer Time!!!!

This is a photo OVERLOAD! I always take tons of pictures of Gracie's field day and each station, so feel free to move on if you're not up for it. It was a half day...but it felt like a full day in the sun and heat. She had a blast though!

Here she is leaving school with her new ABES (Arts Based Elementary) shirt. She was pretty proud of it!

This is a picture of their community/class gardens. I love that they do this. The kids learn so much about plant life and gardening and it's a fun activity for them!

This is a newly built bamboo shade area at the play area.

Musical Chairs with soaked sponges in the seats! Uh oh...no chair for Miss Grace!

Obstacle Course!

3rd Grade Class picture!

...and a goofy one!

Grace and her "boyfriend" Josh!

Water Balloons...

Paint Relay

Love her face here as Josh gets water dumped on his head!

This was the one she was most nervous about...last year she fell about 4-5 times and ended up getting hurt! They walked a very slow pace and came out free of injury..haha.

Can't believe my little girl is going into the 4th grade!!!!
