This year, we decided to stay in our home town for Trick Or Treating. We have never done this, in the 9 years that we've been here. We usually head to Winston Salem, or King. Last year, we were driving home and Rural Hall was PACKED! It was like a huge block party with tons of people and music blaring. Who knew our little ol' town was so awesome at Halloween celebrating?!
So, we stayed here...and walked from our house and even invited my brother and his family to go out with us, promising them a great time!
Well, there were some awesome houses. They were definitely more creative in Rural Hall with decorations, dressing up, and scary props at houses. BUT, we had to walk on skinny sidewalks, which normally seem very wide until you stick a few hundred people on them. There was also lots of traffic, which made me super nervous, and some drivers were going EXTREMELY too fast for that area with all of us so close. I was on edge. And when Mommy's not happy, no one's able to have a good time..haha. I felt bad for getting everyone's hopes so high for Rural Hall Trick or Treating. Next year, I'm definitely thinking the mall, or even somewhere that they close off traffic. It's too much to think about... which masked kid is yours while watching for traffic, and sticks and stones, and keeping up with a big crowd. It took the fun out of it for me, and I took the fun out of it for my family. Sorry guys! :(

This is our dream house. It's the most beautiful house in Rural Hall. And it's infested with a huge mama spider...

It was hard to get a good shot of the lines that had formed up and down the road...but we usually had about 10 people in front of us (at the good houses)

This yard was by far the best. They live on a corner, so different things stretched around the house. They were dressed up really creepy, but they would come up and high five the kids and such. It was fun!
They had a screen on the side of their house and while we were there, it was showing the Thriller video. Sweet!
Pin head was not real, but the mummy dude was...
Then you went into their garage for an awesome treat bag. Jai walked through all of this like it was nothing. He is so brave. :)
