Miss Natalie's 7th Birthday!

Oct 30th was Gracie & Jai's cousin Natalie's 7th Birthday Party! We had a great time seeing our family and celebrating with a Halloween Themed party! The kids dressed in their costumes and enjoyed the HUGE infalatable birthday cake! Jeannie always does such an awesome job on birthday parties! :)

This is Natalie!
Jai with her little sister, Caroline

The cute decorated food table.

Awesome Halloween Cake! So cute...and I bet it was tasty!

Man, she racked up on some presents.

This is where Jai spent most of the time. He wouldn't go near the bouncy house, even with no kids inside.

...but Gracie sure did enjoy it!

Paul's cousin Erin, next to her boyfriend's monstrous new truck! :)

Thanks for inviting us! We had a blast!
The kids went trick or treating in King afterwards. I didn't get to go (no pictures) because I had to head to work! Bummer! :(

Halloween Costumes...

They were so cute in their costumes...I couldn't just pick one picture! Gracie was astrid from How to Train a Dragon! She specifically said she didn't want to be cute, or pretty...she wanted to be tough. Haha...

Jai was 2 things. In August he wanted to be Buzz Lightyear...so that's what we got him. Then he decided he wanted to be Iron Man. So, on Saturday they went trick or treating in King (since they decided to go against rule and do trick or treating on Saturday). He was Buzz Lightyear fro that. On Sunday we took them to a few more houses, and he was Iron Man. Pictures of that will be in the next blog. Here is Buzz...

Pumpkin Carving...

I absolutely love October! It is the busiest month for us...but it is so awesome. Jai & Paul's birthday, pumpkins, beautiful leaves, beautiful weather, etc. We had a great time carving pumpkins this past week. Here are some shots from that!

These are my lovely mums! I'm so proud that I have kept them alive for over a week! Yay!

Gracie loved pulling out the goo!

Jai, on the other hand, wouldn't touch it. He didn't want to even look at it!

Paul forced him to touch it eventually. :(

He was devastated! Haha...
Mean daddy!

awwww...

This was my pumpkin. I took the easy route and drilled it. I liked it! :)

Our beautiful tree starting to change!

Gracie went the traditional route! Good job Miss Gracie!

Paul did this one for Jai since he wanted nothing to do with it. So cute!

Uh oh! Somebody got some layers...

Gracie's hair had been looking a little on the frumpy side lately. I took her to my awesome hair stylist, Rachel, to get some layers put in. She is absolutely DRIVEN to grow her hair out, and I keep begging her to cut it. She hasn't given in yet. She only wanted a smidget cut off...so that's what we did. I loved it though.

Before...
During...
After...
My little lady! Hopefully I can work on her some more, and get her to at least get it to her shoulders. It's so much more manageable that length. :) She loves going to the salon though. She thinks it's the best to get her hair washed in the shampoo bowl...haha.

Marley's 3rd Bday!

On October 23rd, we went to a birthday party for our special little friend, Marley! Marley is one week younger than Jai! We always joke that Jai and Marley will someday be married! She is just adorable and we love her to pieces. I took some pictures of their house that was decorated so cute! We had a great time and were happy that we were able to celebrate with them! :)

Lacherie made us vegetarian cupcakes, just for us! I really appreciated that! Thank you lady! :)

Jai loved being the DJ!

Mandy made the cutest Fondant Hello Kitty for her cake! I didn't get a picture of the finished product...but it was so adorable! Great job Mandy!

Marley in her new ride! Lucky girl!
